As the biggest and most eyes-catching activity
of Nanshan Ski Village, the 5th Nanshan Nordica Swim Suit
Ski Competition/Nitro Naked Pig Ski Carnival has become an
annual high time at the end of every snow season. The origin
of the competition is a ski resort in Crested Butte Mountain,
Colorado, which has an unwritten tradition: whenever the snow
season is about to pass, men and women ski masters get together
and walk in the snow “naked”. Modern people are lapping it
up yet some people regard nudity as offensive, so every year
the ski resort has to face many such complaints. But, Naked
Pigs still believe that to strip off their clothes and to
ski under the blue sky is an incomparable enjoyment to come
to the nature. Certainly at Nanshan Ski Village, people do
not really ski “naked.” They make full use of their imaginations
to wear various cosmetics like “Bikini in Drag”, “Halloween
Ghost Dress” and “Beautiful Narcissus Fairy Figure.” Here
in Nanshan, skill is not essential. To be cool and standout,
to catch the eye and to gain enthusiastic applause is most
important! |
From the 02-03 Snow Season, Nanshan
has successfully held 4 “Naked Pig” Ski Carnivals. On Mar. 4th,
2007, Nanshan will host the 5th Nanshan Nordica Swim Suit Ski
Competition/Nitro Naked Pig Ski Carnival. The promoters are
going to publicly recruit “Naked Pigs” skiers via internet nationwide,
and hold try outs. Participants need only submit pictures through
the website. Netizens will select the Top 20 qualified players
to take part in the final competition, which will be held at
Nanshan Ski Resort on Mar. 4th. Additionally, you can choose
the match date (Mar. 4th) to register at the event, as Roxy
Bikini and the promoters have prepared professional stylists
and all kinds of decorations to ensure your best performances.
In addition, many abundant prizes are waiting for you on the
big day.
Two activities you can not miss in the Nanshan carnival
are “The 1st Ski Equipment Car Boot & Flea Market” and “World-renowned
Ski Equipment Auction”. Ski lovers will gather in Nanshan
to check out their favorite ski equipment with happiness
and excitement. If you want to join them, just come with
us to Nanshan on Mar. 4th!
