Members¡¯ Rights and Interest
1. Members may use a complete set of
advanced skiing equipment imported from
abroad, free of charge (which shall be
returned within the same day).
2. Members may take a ride on the cable cars
and tope tows and skiing on all the trails,
free of charge.
3. Admission tickets for the skiing resort
will be offered to the members as a gift
(the ticket includes: insurance against
accidental injuries).
4. Members may use parking lot especially
arranged for members, free of charge.
5. Members may proceed with the closing of
accounts procedures for all the snow
recreation activities in the lodging house
of the club.
6. Members may make an appointment with
skiing coach in advance.
7. Members may use the lockers for clothes
and skiing equipment for life.
8. Members may have the priority attend
skiing seminars and fans saloons
periodically organized by the Club.
9. Members may receive club periodicals as a
giveaway as well as prioritized announcement
for all the activities at Nanshan Skiing
Resort.
10. Members may have the priority and enjoy
the preferential treatment of receiving
discounts in joining skiing tourist parties
periodically organized by the Club for
countries in Europe and America, as well as
Japan, Korea and other famous skiing
destinations.
11. Members may have the priority in
participating in the large and medium-scale
skiing competitions and other related
celebrations organized by the Club.
12. Members may enjoy favorable room rates
at the local hotels contracted to the Club.
II. Other Guides
1. Members must show their membership cards
when served by the Club.
2. Membership cards of this Club are
name-registered cards and restricted to
personal use. Use of the card under another
person¡¯s name is forbidden.
3. Members shall pay the annual dues before
the snow season commences. One can only
receive the members¡¯ rights and interests
after such dues are duly paid.
4. In case a member fails to pay the annual
dues due to special circumstances, but
wishes to retain the membership he shall pay
RMB 800 for membership retainment fee.
5. In the event that skiing equipment is
lost, the member shall compensate a sum
equivalent to the purchase price.
6. A total of 300 core cards are issued for
the founding membership. Both the core card
and additional cards can be transferred.
Both transferor and transferee shall pay 5%
of the membership fee as the transfer fee
and give notice to the Club to proceed with
the transfer procedures.
7. Lockers for members¡¯ use are designated
to the holders of the core cards who may
authorize the holders of the additional
cards to use such lockers.
8. The members shall notify the Club of any
loss of member cards. A new card will be
issued through appropriate procedures and
RMB100 will be charged for that.
9. The holder of a core card or additional
card shall make reservation with the Club
one day before he/she brings non-member
guests (no more than 3) to the lodging house
and shall pay RMB 50 for such guests in
consideration for use of the lodging house (
admission ticket and accidental injury
insurance included); non-member visitors
will be charged at the standard rate for
skiing and other snow recreation activities.
Reservations shall be made three days in
advance if more than three non-member guests
are brought to the Club.
10. The annual dues are subject to
adjustment by the Club in accordance with
the current year skiing activities and
variation in operational cost (for instance,
lighting equipment newly installed for night
skiing.)
Notes: Please
make reservation one day in advance of your
arrival time to ensure a considerate and
convenient service for each member or guest.
The reservation for skiing equipment will be
held for 30 minutes. If any member brings a
non-member guest to the Club without
reservation, the Club may have difficulty in
ensuring proper service for the guest.
